As an Apprentice Nursery Practitioner, you will gain hands‑on experience in a supportive learning environment while working towards a recognised qualification in childcare. You will work as a member of the nursery team to ensure that all children attending the setting receive high quality care, are kept safe and receive rich and stimulating play experiences which meet their individual needs.
Responsibilities
- Assist in providing care and education to children under the guidance of qualified staff
- Learn and apply the principles of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage)
- Support the planning and delivery of engaging activities for children
- Observe and understand children’s development and learning needs
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for children
