Our client is a reputable social housing contractor who is looking for a planner / scheduler with experience in property maintenance to join their team based in Potters Bar on a temp-perm basis.
Annual Salary - £29,000- £30,000 per annum £14.18 per hour PAYE.
The suitable candidate will ideally have previous experience in a similar field and be familiar with the building maintenance industry.
Roles and Responsibilities:- Liaising with housing association tenants regarding new and ongoing repairs in their homes.
- Answering customer calls/emails and enquiries regarding breakdowns and planned service works.
- To allocate jobs to suitable engineers within allocated areas.
- Schedule engineers' diaries.
- General administration - including data entry, answering telephone calls, cover as required.
- Must be computer literate (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Have a sound knowledge of building and repairs.
- Have worked in a fast-paced environment, ability to multi-task
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
