Our client is a local housing authority. They are currently recruiting for a permanent, full time supervisor to oversee a Repairs and Maintenance contract across Norwich focusing primarily on Disrepairs and Damp and Mould contracts. They are looking to recruit an experienced supervisor with a trade background preferably with experience in supervising social housing / maintenance projects.
Monday - Friday
37 hours per week.
Roles and responsibilities for this position include:
- Day-to-day supervision of the contract dealing with residents, customers and ensuring that all operatives are working efficiently and productively on a repairs and maintenance programme.
- Pre and post inspection of works.
- Day to day management of the operative's workload.
- Signing off works undertaken, ensuring company standards are met at all times.
- Liaising with the residents and customers and dealing with any queries or issues which may arise.
- Ensuring works are completed on time and to a satisfactory standard.
The suitable candidate must have good customer service skills and be able to communicate with tenants in occupied properties in a friendly and professional manner.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
- Previous supervisory experience with a maintenance contractor (preferred)
- Social Housing Experience
