Our client is a local housing association, providing maintenance services to properties across the Norwich / West Norfolk area., This is a mobile engineer role and a company vehicle will be provided. Driving licence with no more than 6 points essential., The role is initially offered on a temp basis potentially leading to a full time position with the company after 13 weeks continuous service as long as performance and standards are met.
They are currently recruiting for an experienced multi-trade to work on a domestic maintenance contract, carrying out work in void (empty) properties across the area. A carpenter background would be ideal., The candidate will ideally be a skilled and experienced multi – skilled tradesperson who hold skills in trades such as carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling and painting and decorating.
The successful individual will ideally hold a minimum level 2 NVQ or be time- served whilst also being experienced in completing various other day to day maintenance tasks. As a skilled multi- trade operative with relevant experience in building maintenance you will be required to undertake a variety of allocated works in void properties across the area
Self – Employed and PAYE options available (PAYE will change the rate).
Initially required on a 2 month temporary basis but could lead to a long term permanent role for the suitable candidate.
