Our client, a Property Services Contractor delivering high quality services to clients in the social housing and local authority sector, is seeking an experienced and fully qualified Domestic Plumber to join their maintenance team on a permanent basis.
The work involves carrying out plumbing duties on domestic repairs and maintenance in properties mainly in and around the North Herts and Bedfordshire areas, on a reactive maintenance programme. Working hours are Monday to Friday 7.30am-4.30pm with a 30 minute paid lunch break.
ResponsibilitiesWorking in void and occupied domestic properties on a reactive maintenance programme, providing a high standard of customer service.
Qualifications and Requirements- A minimum of NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing.
- Fully qualified and proven experience as a Domestic Plumber, with work related references.
- Unvented cylinders (preferred).
- Own tools.
- Experience working in social housing or tenanted properties (preferred).
- Full driving licence (no more than 6 points).
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- 28 days annual leave including bank holidays.
- Pension.
- Company van.
- Uniform.
£38,000.00 per year.
