An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Employee Relations Consultant to join a global leader in financial and information services on a 3-month contract. This role will provide expert ER guidance and manage complex cases during a peak period from April to July 2025.
Working remotely or from our client's Nottingham or London offices, you will play a key role in supporting business leaders and HR teams across the UK & Ireland. If you thrive in a fast-paced corporate environment and have a passion for delivering high-quality ER support, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Complex ER Cases: Independently handle escalated and high-risk ER cases across the UK & Ireland with minimal supervision.
- Provide Expert ER Advice: Lead ER surgeries with managers, offering guidance on people processes including capability, probation, and attendance.
- Support Change & Redundancy Projects: Manage medium to large-scale change initiatives, including redundancy projects (both pooled and individual), from consultation to completion. Prepare documentation and train managers on best practices.
- Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs): Conduct data reviews and redaction to process employee DSAR requests, ensuring compliance with legal frameworks and company policies.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3-5+ years of Employee Relations experience within a large corporate environment.
- Proven expertise in handling complex ER cases and supporting organisational change.
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and best-practice HR policies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and confident working in a fast-paced environment.
