A leading global investment bank is seeking a highly motivated Junior Assistant to provide vital administrative support to bankers within an industry group team. This is a fast-paced, high-volume role that requires exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
This position is well-suited for someone with experience of diary management/transferable skills from a professional company background and who thrives under pressure and enjoys working in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide diary and calendar management support for bankers (Associate level and above)
- Schedule meetings and conference calls across multiple time zones
- Manage a high volume of phone calls and emails, ensuring timely and accurate responses
- Coordinate internal/external meeting room bookings and video conferences across global locations
- Arrange complex travel logistics, including visas, international flights, accommodations, and car services
- Process expenses and invoices with accuracy and efficiency
- Handle ad-hoc administrative tasks while maintaining workflow consistency
- Support the team with day-to-day queries and operational needs
- Provide phone and holiday coverage for colleagues when required
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to manage multiple, time-sensitive tasks in a deadline-driven environment
- High attention to detail with excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Strong communication skills across phone, email, Zoom, and in-person interactions
