About the Role:
Paragon Home Healthcare is looking for a Live-in Carer to assist a lovely lady in Uckfield who has a spinal cord injury following a cycling accident. She lives in a remote home with her husband and son and requires daily support with respiratory care (Clearway cough assist), catheter management , medication routine , and mobility . She uses a wheelchair and has a well-established care plan and a supportive family.
Job Details:
Rota & Pay: Rota: 3 weeks on/off Pay rate: £146.33 per day. Travel allowance: Competitive travel allowance for each placement. Driving: Not essential, but preferred due to remote location Pet: Carers must be comfortable around pets in the household (cat/dog) Live-In Care Responsibilities Assist with personal care, mobility, meal prep, and daily living activities. Provide support with spinal injury care and encourage independence. Observe and record the client's health status, and ensure their safety and well-being. Arrange transportation for appointments, outings, and travel when required.
