About the Role:
We are looking for a compassionate and reliable female carer to support a dedicated live-in care team providing palliative care within the client's home. The role involves assisting the live-in carers, covering breaks, helping with household duties, and providing practical and emotional support to ensure the client remains comfortable and well supported. This package would suit someone who is calm, patient, understanding, and gentle in their approach. The client values consistency and reassurance, and appreciates carers who are willing to take the time to learn how she likes her care delivered while working closely alongside the wider care team.
Job Details:
- Rota: Shifts are usually between 2-3 weeks live-in at a time, which may shift slightly while things are being established. Alternatively, if eligible, you can be a part of our Standby rota, working conveniently from home.
- Pay rate: £139.81 per day
- Travel allowance: Competitive travel allowance for each placement.
- Food allowance: Competitive food allowance per day, if applicable.
Live-In Care Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care, mobility, meal prep, and daily living activities.
- Observe and record the client's health status, and ensure their safety and well-being.
- Arrange transportation for appointments, outings, and travel when required.
