About the Role:

Paragon Home Healthcare is looking for a Brain Injury Support Worker to support a retired gentleman in Seaford who has suffered a brain injury. His injury affects his cognition and emotions, and he can occasionally be disinhibited, so he needs a calm, steady, and patient support worker who can offer reassuring guidance and structure to his day. He is physically mobile and enjoys getting out and about. As his support worker, you’ll be driving his car, taking him to appointments, the seaside, and out for tea. He lives in a beautiful home with a strong support network.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A calm, confident support worker with experience in brain injury or complex care.
  • You must live locally and be able to travel reliably to the client’s home.
  • You’ll need to be flexible, work well independently or alongside others, and bring a steady presence to help maintain a stable care environment.
  • A warm and adaptable approach is key, especially when supporting both the client and his partner.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Day and waking night shifts
  • Shift Pattern: Day 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Night 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM
  • Pay Rate: Weekday (Day): £14.75/hr, Weekends (Day or Night): £17.70/hr, Nights (any day): £17.70/hr
  • Bank Holidays paid at 150% and Christmas at 200% (double pay)
  • Location: Seaford, BN25 coastal town with beautiful scenery
  • Driver: Essential - must be confident driver with clean driver’s licence
  • With this client, you’ll be engaged in 3-4 shifts or more per week. Alternatively, if eligible, you can be a part of our Standby rota, working conveniently from home.

Training & Support:

Paragon is a specialist provider of spinal cord injury and complex care. You’ll receive full training before you start, and where possible, time will be given to get familiar with the care routine. No previous experience with spinal care is needed.
