Join Paragon Home Healthcare and support a client in his early 70s who suffered a high-level spinal cord injury following a motorbike accident in his home in Northwood, HA6 . We are recruiting two live-in carers to work alongside each other for this role. This is a physically demanding role that is quite different from dementia or elderly care , requiring safe, skilled moving and handling. While the techniques are unique to high-level spinal injuries, you do not need prior spinal injury experience . We are a specialist provider and will provide full training to teach you everything you need to know. We are looking for a mix of drivers and non-drivers , as one of the carers must be willing to drive . You will be driving him in his automatic WAV (Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle) for local trips. Were looking for a mature personality with a thick skin and a great sense of humour. The client loves the Carry On films
