You’ll be working in the client’s own home, where he lives with his wife and adult children.
He has lived with his injury for many years and is very clear about how he likes things done.
He leads a busy, active life and goes out daily with support from his carers, so being a <b>confident driver</b> who is happy to get out and about is a must.</p> <p>Your day will include personal care, supporting mobility, helping with equipment like hoists and <b>CPAP</b>, and generally making sure the day runs smoothly.
The client values professionalism, good hygiene and a tidy appearance – carers change into clean clothes on arrival and wear indoor shoes in the house.
This role requires clear boundaries, a positive attitude and a respectful approach.</p> <p>Where possible, a short introduction and shadowing shift may be offered before starting to help you settle in and get familiar with the routine.</p> <h2>Job Details</h2> <ul> <li><b>Job

You must be a driver and happy to help with regular community outings.</li> </ul> <h2>What We’re Looking For</h2> <p><b>Male carer required due to the need to provide personal care (Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1).</b> We welcome applications from male carers who are kind, dependable and confident supporting someone in their own home.
You don’t need spinal injury experience – just a willingness to learn, a common‑sense approach and the ability to follow the client’s lead.</p> <h2>Training & Support</h2> <p>Paragon is a specialist provider of spinal cord injury and complex care.
You’ll receive full training before you start, and where possible, time will be given to get familiar with the care routine.
