Compassionate and proactive Support Worker / Personal Assistant to support a client living with spinal cord injury (SCI) in London. Role focuses on encouraging independence, routine, and community access.
Location & Travel
NW4, London. Driving not required.
Pay, Hours & Rewards
- Pay: £15.29 per hour.
- Bonus: Up to £400 joining & training bonus.
- £150 paid with first paycheck.
- £250 paid after successful probation.
- Hours: 1 day per week (weekday – TBC), 10‑hour shift approx. 10 am – 8 pm. Potential for additional hours/days over time.
Main Responsibilities
- Support access to community (walks, outings, appointments).
- Encourage routine, structure, and independence.
- Provide support with personal care as required, promoting independence.
- Assist with mobility (walker, wheelchair, transfers).
- Support general wellbeing and motivation.
- Help maintain a clean and organised home environment.
- Communicate effectively and maintain care records.
