We are seeking a female live‑in carer to support a gentle, intelligent gentleman with a C4/5 spinal cord injury who lives with his wife in a peaceful home in SW4, Clapham. The placement is a short‑term live‑in role lasting approximately 2–3 months, beginning as early as 19th December, depending on the client’s wife’s operation date.
Location
SW4, Clapham – excellent transport links, close to local amenities.
Daily Support
Personal care, continence support, showering, meal prep, household duties, and light support for the wife during her recovery.

Rota & Pay
Live‑in position lasting approximately 2–3 months
Start date: As early as 19th December
Pay rate: £136.38 per day
Food allowance provided and paid for by Paragon Home Healthcare (PHH)
Travel allowance competitive per placement
Live-In Care Responsibilities
Assist with washing, dressing, showering, and personal care
Support continence care, including one night‑time pad change
Prepare balanced meals to support weight gain
Maintain a clean, tidy, well‑organised home
Provide gentle, minimal support for the client’s wife post‑operation (approx. 30 minutes per day)
Encourage independence and follow a calm, structured routine
Observe and record wellbeing and ensure safety
Assist with activities of daily living
Maintain a safe and clean living environment
Ensure confidentiality
Support medication routines (client self‑administers)
Arrange transportation for appointments when needed
Training & Support
Full paid training is provided before starting. No prior spinal care experience is required – just warmth, reliability, and a willingness to learn. Paragon is a specialist provider of spinal cord injury and complex care.
