Paragon Home Healthcare is seeking a lively, cheerful Live-in Carer to support a lady with a Spinal Cord Injury who is partially paralysed. The client resides independently in a well-equipped, adapted home in the Aylesbury HP19 area. She is supported by two live-in carers who work collaboratively to provide consistent care while ensuring each carer has ample rest and support.
This role is ideal for someone who doesn’t mind travelling, as the client visits her family overseas once a year and will need the carer to accompany her. The carer will also assist with driving the client to local appointments, shopping, and outings.
With this client, you’ll be engaged in a 2-week live-in assignment, followed by a 2-week rest period. After 1 week rest, you have the option to work with another client for 1 week. Alternatively, if eligible, you can join our Standby rota, working conveniently from home. We provide comprehensive training to support you in your caregiving role.
Job type: Live-in
Pay rate: £142.07 per day

Live-In Care Job Overview
As a Carer (also known as a Personal Assistant), you will assist the client with daily care, activities of daily living, and mobility needs. Specific duties are detailed in the Client\\\’s care plan and daily activities, managed through our electronic visit system. Responsibilities include personal care, spinal injury toileting, mobility support, meal preparation, and more.
