About the Role
Paragon Home Healthcare is seeking a lively, cheerful live-in carer to support a lovely lady with a spinal cord injury and partial paralysis. The client resides independently in a well‑equipped, adapted home in the Aylesbury HP19 area and is supported by two live‑in carers who work collaboratively to provide consistent care.
This role is ideal for someone who does not mind traveling, as the client visits family overseas once a year and will need the carer to accompany her. The carer will also be required to assist with driving the client to local appointments, shopping, and outings.
Rota & Pay
Live‑in assignment: 2 weeks live‑in, 2 weeks rest, 1 week rest, then option to work with another client for 1 week. Option to join the standby rota and work from home if eligible. Pay rate: £146.33 per day. Travel allowance: competitive per placement.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care, mobility, meal preparation and daily living activities.
- Provide support with spinal injury care and encourage independence.
- Observe and record the client’s health status.
- Arrange transportation for appointments, outings, and travel when required.
- Ensure the client’s safety and well‑being.
