Paragon Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Critical Care Nurses to support a lovely lady in Eastbourne who requires advanced clinical care following a spinal cord injury. This role involves managing complex needs such as tracheostomy and ventilator care, bowel management, suprapubic catheter care, and hoist transfers. You’ll be responsible for providing high-quality care, mentoring HCAs, and ensuring the care plan is followed with clinical oversight from our Nurse Practitioner team. You’ll work alongside a supportive team to ensure the best outcomes for the client, while building a stable care model for the future.
Key Responsibilities- Provide advanced care, including ventilator management and tracheostomy care.
- Monitor patient’s condition, administer medications, and maintain accurate care records.
- Mentor and support HCAs.
- Liaise with the clinical team and family to ensure comprehensive care.

- Competitive Pay Rates
- Day Shift: 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. (approx. £33.84/hour weekdays, £40.60/hour weekends).
- Night Shift: 8 p.m. - 8 a.m. (approx. £40.60/hour weekdays and weekends).
- Location: BN20, Eastbourne (own transport required).
In addition to your hourly rate, travel expenses are reimbursed at 25 pence per mile for distances up to 200 miles, and 30 pence per mile for longer journeys once an expenses form is submitted and processed. To ensure long travel distances do not lead to fatigue, there is a reimbursement cap of £40 per shift for travel, helping to make the role even more rewarding.
What We’re Looking For- Experience: Minimum 12 months in ICU/ITU or complex care.
- Qualifications: Valid NMC registration.
- Skills: Strong clinical and mentoring abilities.
