About the Role
Are you a calm, compassionate, and organised carer looking for a stable day‑shift role? Paragon Home Healthcare is seeking a day carer to support a young gentleman with a spinal cord injury following discharge from specialist rehabilitation. This placement focuses on supporting rehabilitation goals, building independence, and maintaining a structured daily routine in the client’s own home. This is a day‑shift position, supporting the client during the initial transition period from hospital to home.

- Tuesday and Thursday Shift Pattern: Day 8:00 - 16:00
- Pay Rate: £18.90 per hour
- Location: E20 – excellent transport links and close to local amenities
Client personality: Intelligent, motivated, and focused on regaining independence; values routine and calm, encouraging support.
Daily support: Personal care, bowel and bladder routines, mobility support, rehabilitation exercises, meal preparation, and household tasks.
Training & Support: Paragon is a specialist provider of spinal cord injury and complex care. You’ll receive full training before you start, and where possible, time will be given to get familiar with the care routine. No previous experience with spinal care is needed.
