Location: B76 - a peaceful and accessible area with great local amenities, shops, and transport links close by. Client personality: Chatty, sociable, and enjoys having his carer integrated into his home life. He likes sharing meals, shopping together, and good conversation. Driving perks: Driving is an important part of the role. You\'ll need to be a confident driver with a clean licence to help with outings, errands, and travel. Travel opportunities: The carer should be willing and able to travel with the client, so a valid passport or visa suitable for travel is essential. Daily support: Assist with personal care, mobility needs, and companionship in his comfortable, well-equipped home, empowering his independence while providing friendly and reliable support. No pets and no smoking in the house. Male or female applicants welcome, though a female carer may be the best fit personality-wise.
Live-In Care Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care, mobility, meal prep, and daily living activities.
- Provide support with spinal injury care and encourage independence.
- Observe and record the client\'s health status, and ensure their safety and well-being.
- Arrange transportation for appointments, outings, and travel when required.
