Paragon Home Healthcare is looking for a friendly Live-in Carer to assist a lovely lady in Cheltenham-GL50 who has spinal cord injury following a road accident. She lives with her husband and a friendly dog, in a beautiful house. She requires daily support with personal care, medication routine, stoma care and mobility. This is a fantastic opportunity to offer support in advanced care under the guidance of our Nurse Practitioner team.
To maintain privacy during intimate care, this role is open to female carers only, in line with a genuine occupational requirement under Schedule 9, Paragraph 1 of the Equality Act 2010. With this client, you'll be engaged in a 4-week live-in assignment, succeeded by a 4-week rest period. Following a 2-week rest, you have the option to work with another client for 2 weeks. Alternatively, if eligible, you can be a part of our Standby rota, working conveniently from home.
To support your journey, we provide comprehensive training, equipping you to excel in your caregiving role.

- Pay Rate: £136.38 per day
- Travel allowance: Competitive travel allowance for each placement

Role Expectations:
- A good sense of humour and a gentle, person-centred approach
- Maintaining clear records and ensuring the care plan is followed
- Confident in supporting client with clinical needs
- Observe and record the client's health status
- Assist client with activities of daily living and help maintain a clean and safe home environment
