About the Role: Are you a compassionate and skilled individual looking for a rewarding live-in care role? Paragon Home Healthcare is seeking an experienced and dedicated Live-in Carer to support a gentleman with cerebral palsy, who is quadriplegic and has a learning disability. He requires full support with all aspects of daily living, alongside specialist clinical care including PEG feeding, seizure management due to epilepsy, and monitoring of asthma. This role calls for a confident carer with strong clinical experience, attention to detail, and the ability to provide safe, consistent, and person-centred care while promoting comfort, dignity, and wellbeing at all times.
Job Details:
- Rota & Pay: Live-in on a respite base (every second weekend) Friday-Saturday-Sunday-Monday. Alternatively, if eligible, you can be a part of our Standby rota, working conveniently from home.
- Pay rate: £153.43/day
- Travel allowance: Competitive travel allowance for each placement.
- Location: TN39
Live-In Care Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care, mobility, meal prep, and daily living activities.
- Provide support with spinal injury care and encourage independence.
- Observe and record the client's health status, and ensure their safety and well-being.
- Arrange transportation for appointments, outings, and travel when required.
What We're Looking For:
- Female carer required due to the need to provide personal care (Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1).

Training & Support:
Paragon is a specialist provider of spinal cord injury and complex care. You'll receive full training before you start, and where possible, time will be given to get familiar with the care routine. No previous experience with spinal care is needed.
