Paragon Education is recruiting an SEN Teaching Assistant for a caring and inclusive primary school in South Birmingham. The successful candidate will support pupils with additional learning needs on a one-to-one and small-group basis. The school is committed to inclusion and values staff who are patient, resilient, and passionate about helping every child succeed.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 support for pupils with additional or complex needs
- Assist with implementing individual education plans (IEPs)
- Promote independence, confidence, and social development
- Work closely with class teachers and the SENCo
Requirements
- Experience supporting children with SEN (e.g. ASD, ADHD, speech and language)
- Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification (or equivalent)
- Calm, compassionate, and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
