In September 2022, DCX was formed from the merger of two long-standing agencies, creating a full-service digital transformation and marketing agency that combines data with compelling creative and digital technology.

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to identify, open and close new business opportunities across the Agency, focusing on selling creative and marketing campaign services. This role will work alongside another sales lead as part of the Growth and Marketing team.

Responsibilities:

  • Building a pipeline of new prospects.
  • Developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Working with marketing and growth teams to develop outbound lead generation campaigns.
  • Being an ambassador for the DCX brand.
  • Networking and event attendance to generate new prospects.
  • Identifying and responding to published tenders.
  • Managing the pipeline accuracy and reporting within our Salesforce CRM.
  • Owning and directing new business proposals/pitches.

About you:

You are likely to have a background in marketing and communications sales roles, with a focus on finding, qualifying and converting new business. You will be ambitious and have experience working in creative, data-driven and marketing communications environments.

The role requires someone who is highly motivated by striking up new conversations and hunting out problems we can solve. Our approach is consultative, focusing on trust and longevity of relationships.

To be successful, you must have:

  • A proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to implement successful sales strategies.
  • Experience in managing complex sales engagements.
  • Strong analytical and financial management skills.
