We have an exciting new opportunity to join the team at Paragon as a permanent Warehouse Operative responsible for Counterbalance Forklift operation.
This is a permanent contract based at Greenland Road, Sheffield. The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 11:00am to 7:30pm. It is essential that you hold a current counterbalance license for this position.

What will your role as a Warehouse Operative involve?
- Carry out prestart checks on all operational equipment and report any damage or defects to the warehouse manager.
- Loading and unloading of vehicles.
- Take delivery of goods into the warehouse in accordance with the company delivery specification and check for missing or damaged items.
- Accurately book goods into stock using the computerised stock system
- Sort and store materials/items onto racking and shelving and accurately record the stock location on the computerised stock system
- Pick items from throughout the warehouse and prepare and complete warehouse orders for despatch.
- Deliver goods to production in a timely manner
- Update computerised stock systems to ensure stock records are accurate
- Replenish the warehouse pick face and update the stock system accordingly
- Complete end of day manifests
- Perform warehouse inventory checks
- Remove waste from the warehouse as required ensuring waste goes into the correct waste stream.
- Maintain housekeeping to a high standard
- Carry out tasks in accordance with warehouse standard operating procedures
What do you need to be successful in this role?
- Licensed to drive a Counterbalance
- Experienced working within a team.
- Familiar working within a warehouse environment.
- A self-starter using your initiative to reach goals and solve problems.
- Thorough and analytical in all your work with great attention to detail.
- Excellent in time management and organisation.
