About the Role

We are looking to appoint a Client Executive within the invoice finance team to deliver credit control and front‑line ledger risk management.

Purpose of the Role

Support Relationship Managers in delivering invoice finance facilities by undertaking credit control, ledger verification, identifying threats to security, and processing payments.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with clients and debtors
  • Perform telephone and email credit control
  • Maintain accurate notes
  • Complete invoice discounting reconciliation reports (if applicable)
  • Identify threats to security through ledger verification and chasing
  • Process and analyse invoices and credit notes
  • Prepare monthly compliance reports on client management information
  • Raise payments in accordance with mandate
  • Support the invoice team in achieving its core objectives
  • Identify new business opportunities from collection activity
  • Process bank statements daily

About You

  • Experienced credit controller
  • IT literate, competent with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Excellent telephone manner combining firm and gentle approach as appropriate
  • Credible and able to develop relationships with business owners
  • Team player, flexible, and ready to help others achieve team goals
  • Organised with strong time‑management skills, especially under pressure
  • Professional and able to handle confidential information
  • Desire to develop learning and industry knowledge

Working Hours

Monday to Friday – 37.5 hours per week, hybrid model 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.
