Regional Surveyor – Sheffield, Wakefield, Doncaster and Lincoln
We are looking to recruit a home-based Surveyor to cover Sheffield, Wakefield, Lincoln and Doncaster. If you are fully qualified (MRICS / FRICS / AssocRICS) with post-qualification experience and wish to join our growing national team, this may be the opportunity for you.
This role requires providing specialist property advice to the Group, including mortgage valuations and security assessments of residential investment properties in support of the Group’s buy-to-let business and other functions.
The successful candidate will ideally be based in or around Sheffield. Postcodes covered: S, DN, LN, HD, WF and DE4, 5, 45, 55, 56 and 75.
Purpose of the Role
- Conduct valuations per company lending criteria, RICS Red Book, and Paragon\’s guidance.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Be the local “Gatekeeper” and expert for the post code coverage.
- Manage the region, including valuation flow and panel input.
- Maintain local panel valuer relationships and provide input and oversight of the advice received.
- Provide high-quality professional advice as the face of the Group.
- Comply with RICS regulations and other requirements.
- Stay updated on local markets and technical developments, including HMOs.
- Assist with Receiver of Rent, Repossession, and Power of Sale cases.
- Provide Market Reports and other information for Group Strategy.
- Support other Group business lines, including Development Finance and Due Diligence.
- Attend Head Office for Duty Surveyor role, meetings, and projects.
Qualifications and Experience
- Professional competence/qualification (MRICS / FRICS / AssocRICS) and Valuer Registration scheme.
- Up-to-date CPD.
- Clean current driving licence.

Working Hours
- 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm (one hour for lunch).
