Purpose of the role

To plan and develop a sales strategy within the territory by identifying, engaging, and maintaining relationships with existing and new Introducers. The aim is to engage with dealers and brokers across our range of products – Motor, LCV, and Leisure markets – to increase market share and achieve the required return.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Find and recruit new dealers and brokers via several channels (converting leads, using personal contacts, self‑generating new acquisition opportunities).
  • Present and negotiate up to director level.
  • Take key responsibility for introducer relationships within your geographical area, growing volume and supporting the desired quality.
  • Build and develop long‑lasting relationships and trust between the introducer and lender.
  • Achieve new business targets at the required level of return.
  • Monitor profitability by product mix, arrears, redemption rates and recommend actions where required.
  • Utilise the integrated sales management system to demonstrate activity, achievements and planning.
  • Be fully aware of regulatory requirements of our introducers and provide feedback and training regarding compliance.
  • Gather and share introducer feedback to develop and improve processes or loan products.
  • Deliver decisions to introducers in an empathetic, confident and knowledgeable manner.
  • Liaise with underwriting and support teams to ensure service standards are met at the highest possible level.
  • Field‑based position; must be located within the defined territory and hold a full, clean driving licence.

Skills

  • Relating, Networking and Stakeholder Management.
  • Persuading and influencing.
  • Entrepreneurial and commercial thinking.
  • Formulating strategies and concepts.
  • Planning and organising.
  • Strong record of regularly exceeding sales targets.
  • Presenting, negotiating and communicating information.
  • Deciding and initiating action.
  • Co‑oping with pressures and setbacks.
  • Able to work both remotely and as part of a team.

Qualifications and Experience

You must have previously worked in a targeted environment and have proven sales skills. The position is field based and requires a full driving licence. Even if you don’t meet all criteria, we encourage you to apply. If you’re ready to contribute to the team, please apply.

Further information on the role can be found in the Purpose and Performance Profile (PPP), which is downloadable on this page. Please note, applicants must have the right to work in the UK. We do not offer visa sponsorship.
