What you’ll be doing

• Supporting the daily cash management of all group companies, including investment of surplus funds and the management of collateral.
• Execution of Interest rate and FX swaps, money market investments, repo and securities in accordance with Market Risk Policy.
• Execute Bank of England Sterling Monetary Framework operations, working closely with the Treasury ALM team to support the Bank’s liquidity and funding strategy.
• Producing insightful, high-quality reporting and analysis to support decision-making by senior management and governance committees.
• Running the banks hedging portfolio and assisting with hedging decisions.
• Maintain and develop relationships with bank counterparties, brokers and corporate clients. Support with KYC and onboarding of new clients.

About You

What you’ll bring to the team

• Degree in a numerate discipline, such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Economics or a related field (minimum 2:1)
• Have strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and market trends to support decision making.
• Demonstrates a keen interest in financial markets and a proactive approach to staying informed and adapting to market developments.
• Solid verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment, delivering accurate and timely information to strict deadlines.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, knowledge of Power BI a plus!

Working hours

Monday to Friday - 8: 30am – 5:00pm (1 hour lunch), hybrid working on completion of probation.
