Do you enjoy building strong partnerships and helping deliver excellent services for residents? We’re looking for a proactive and customer focused Third Party Management Officer to join our Neighbourhoods team at PA Housing. This is an exciting opportunity to support the management of third party contracts and partnerships across our homeownership schemes in London, South East and the Midlands, helping ensure residents receive high quality services and well managed communities.

You’ll work closely with managing agents, contractors, residents, and internal teams to oversee agreements, monitor service standards, and help resolve issues quickly and effectively. If you enjoy relationship building, problem solving, and making a positive impact for residents, we’d love to hear from you. This role is about more than contracts. It is about creating positive resident experiences, improving services, and helping communities thrive. This is a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave until January 2027.

What’s in it for you...

  • In addition to the salary, we offer a number of benefits, including:
  • High street discount schemes
  • Health cash plans
  • 26 days’ annual leave, increasing to 29 after three years, with the opportunity to buy more
  • Flexible bank holidays - take them when it suits you
  • Car leasing scheme
  • Hybrid working - offering you the flexibility to thrive in your role. You'll have the opportunity to blend the best of both worlds, spending approximately two to three days per week in the office once settled in the role. This is flexible and depends on meeting cycles and board activity.
  • We also offer an optional nine-day fortnight scheme, allowing you to compress your hours if it suits the role.

What you'll be doing...

  • Support the management of third party agreements and contracts across PA Housing schemes
  • Work closely with managing agents, superior landlords, contractors, and consortiums to ensure services are delivered effectively
  • Review service charge demands, accounts, and formal notices, identifying concerns and escalating issues where needed
  • Support compliance with legal requirements and PA Housing standards across buildings and estates managed by third parties
  • Build strong relationships with residents, homeowners, Resident Associations, and internal stakeholders
  • Help investigate and resolve disputes or service concerns professionally and efficiently
  • Monitor contractor and managing agent performance against agreed standards and KPIs
  • Support the delivery of leasehold and property management services for homeowners
  • Coordinate and support contracts relating to grounds maintenance, cleaning, tree management, pest control, and other estate services
  • Respond to Stage 1 complaints within agreed timescales, ensuring clear communication and positive customer outcomes
  • Support safeguarding and ensure concerns are escalated appropriately
  • Help organise and support community engagement and neighbourhood events
  • Contribute ideas and improvements to help services run more efficiently and effectively

What we're looking for:

  • We’d love to hear from you if you:
  • Have experience working with contracts, property management, leasehold services, or housing services
  • Understand leases, service level agreements, and contract management processes
  • Are confident working with contractors, managing agents, and external stakeholders
  • Have excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Are organised and able to manage competing priorities effectively
  • Can confidently investigate issues and help resolve disputes professionally
  • Have strong customer service skills and enjoy working closely with residents
  • Understand performance monitoring and key performance indicators
  • Have good attention to detail and experience maintaining accurate records
  • Bring a proactive, positive, and solutions focused approach to work
  • Are passionate about improving services and delivering excellent resident experiences
