We're looking for an experienced

Fire Remediation Project Manager to lead the delivery of a portfolio of complex Fire and Building Safety remediation projects across PA Housing.

You'll take projects from inception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Working closely with residents, consultants, contractors and colleagues across the business, you'll play a key role in managing risk, driving successful project outcomes and minimising disruption for residents.

This is an opportunity to use your technical and project management expertise to deliver work that has a real and lasting impact on resident safety.

You'll have the opportunity to blend the best of both worlds, spending approximately two to three days per week in the office once settled in the role.

This is flexible and depends on meeting cycles and board activity.

  • What you’ll be doing……
  • Leading a portfolio of Fire and Building Safety remediation projects from inception through to completion.
  • Managing consultants and contractors, ensuring projects are delivered to agreed quality, programme and contract standards.
  • Managing project budgets, risks and programmes, identifying and addressing issues early.
  • Overseeing design development, procurement and statutory approvals, ensuring projects progress in line with key milestones.
  • Monitoring construction progress, quality and health and safety through regular site visits and contractor meetings.
  • Ensuring project documentation, photographic records and Golden Thread information are accurately maintained.
  • Working closely with Resident Liaison Officers to keep residents informed and minimise disruption throughout remediation works.
  • Providing project updates, risk analysis and financial information to senior colleagues, while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience managing construction or maintenance projects from inception through to completion.
  • Strong knowledge of the

Building Safety Act , health and safety requirements and passive fire safety.

  • Experience delivering projects under

JCT Design & Build contracts , including managing delays, claims and contractual issues.

  • Experience procuring schemes, including tendering, evaluation and scheme optimisation.
  • Experience managing consultants, contractors and complex technical projects.
  • Experience working within a Registered Social Landlord or property developer, delivering new build or high-value maintenance projects.

A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant Construction, Building Surveying and/or Fire Safety discipline.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills, with a strong commitment to putting residents first.
