Are you highly organised, discreet and someone who thrives on keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes?

We’re looking for a PA to the Executive Team to provide trusted, high-quality secretarial, organisational and administrative support to our Executive Team.

You’ll be at the heart of a busy environment, managing complex diaries, coordinating important meetings, arranging travel and accommodation, and making sure the detail is taken care of. You’ll work with senior leaders, Board members, colleagues, suppliers and external stakeholders, so confidence, professionalism and excellent communication skills are essential.

This is a role where discretion really matters. You’ll have access to sensitive business, financial and colleague information, so we need someone who can be trusted to handle confidential information with tact and sound judgement.

What’s in it for you….

In addition to the salary, we offer a number of benefits, including:

  • High street discount schemes
  • Health cash plans
  • 26 days’ annual leave, increasing to 29 after three years, with the opportunity to buy more
  • Flexible bank holidays – take them when it suits you
  • Car leasing scheme
  • Hybrid working – offering you the flexibility to thrive in your role. You'll have the opportunity to blend the best of both worlds, spending approximately two to three days per week in the office once settled in the role. This is flexible and depends on meeting cycles and board activity. We also offer an optional nine-day fortnight scheme, allowing you to compress your hours if it suits the role.

What you’ll be doing……

  • Manage and coordinate complex Executive diaries, making sure internal and external meetings and appointments are organised and diary clashes are avoided
  • Maintain schedules for Board and Executive Management meetings
  • Prepare documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations to a high standard
  • Arrange travel, accommodation and other bookings for the Executive Team
  • Organise high-profile and important meetings involving a wide range of internal and external attendees
  • Manage assigned budgets, expenses and supplier arrangements in line with agreed procedures
  • Coordinate meeting rooms, catering, refreshments and other practical arrangements
  • Work closely with colleagues, suppliers, clients and external stakeholders, as well as supporting corporate events and ad-hoc administrative requirements

We recommend you read the full job description to get a really good understanding of what the role entails, you can find this as a downloadable attachment at the bottom of the advert.

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for an experienced PA who can provide a high level of support to senior leaders and is comfortable working in a busy and confidential environment. You’ll bring:

  • Previous experience working as a PA at Executive or Chief Executive level
  • Exceptional diary management and organisational skills, with experience managing competing priorities
  • Experience arranging travel and hotel bookings
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • The ability to work independently, use initiative and solve problems
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the confidence to work with senior leaders, Board members, colleagues, suppliers and external stakeholders
  • The ability to act with tact, diplomacy and absolute confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information

If you’re organised, proactive and take pride in making sure everything is taken care of, we’d love to hear from you

At PA Housing, we believe in respect, integrity, and accountability. Our work is about people – not just properties – and we’re always looking for ways to do better. If that sounds like your kind of place, we’d love to hear from you.
