We are working with a leading global multi-strategy investment firm looking to hire an experienced engineer to join their IBOR (Investment Book of Record) technology team in London. This is a high-impact role focused on building and evolving a core system that underpins trading, positions, and transaction data across the firm.
You will design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance services that support front and middle office functions.
Stack: Rust, Python, AWS, Kafka/Kinesis, and React.
The role offers strong ownership from day one, with responsibility for delivering robust, production-grade systems in a fast-paced environment. You’ll work closely with engineers and stakeholders globally, contributing to both strategic platform development and real-time operational support.
The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in backend or full-stack development within a complex environment, strong programming skills in languages such as Rust, Python or C#, and experience building distributed, service-oriented systems. Exposure to cloud platforms, messaging systems, and modern web technologies is highly desirable, along with an interest in financial markets and post-trade processes.
