Paragon Alpha are working with a leading quantitative hedge fund that is looking to hire a Platform Support Engineer to join its Quantitative Developer Platform team. The role sits at the intersection of infrastructure, support, and trading technology, working closely with traders, quant researchers, and senior engineers to support a high-performance research and trading environment.
Responsibilities include incident triage, infrastructure and platform support, monitoring production environments, and contributing to automation and platform reliability improvements.
The team is looking for someone with strong Linux and cloud infrastructure experience, alongside exposure to monitoring tools, container platforms, and scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
