Our client are a $70BN quant hedge fund - after some serious gains in 2025, they are looking for world class engineers to join them
They're hiring into a high-impact Software Engineering team responsible for building the next generation of front-office financial infrastructure.
Current initiatives include a greenfield margining platform, cash optimisation systems, intelligent position allocation, and expanding support for new asset classes, including Fixed Income.
Around half of the team's roadmap is dedicated to AI engineering, developing intelligent systems that automate financial workflows, optimise capital efficiency, improve operational decision-making, and embed LLMs and machine learning into core business processes.
The team is led by one of the firm's most respected engineering leaders, who also heads AI Governance - helping define how AI is deployed responsibly across a world-class quantitative trading business.
From a technical perspective, you'll be building large-scale distributed systems using C# and/or Java, working with Kafka/Flink event-driven architectures, Spark data processing, Kubernetes, SQL, and modern cloud-native engineering practices.
We're operating with significant flexibility on compensation for exceptional engineers.
