Job Type: Permanent, Part-Time (20 hours per week)

Working Hours: Morning: 9:00am – 12:00pm (3 hours); Evening: 5:30pm – 7:30pm (2 hours)

About the role

Harland Care Services Ltd is seeking a fun, friendly, and kind Support Worker to provide 1:1 support to a female client living in Waterlooville. This role is about helping our client live an independent, enjoyable, and fulfilling life, whilst living with complex clinical needs. Support will take place both in her home and out in the community.

Responsibilities

  • Promote independence and confidence
  • Pursue hobbies and interests
  • Enjoy time in the community

Activities may include:

  • Meeting friends and family
  • Visiting the beach or country parks
  • Shopping trips
  • Dog walking
  • Arts and crafts

Training & Support

No previous experience is required. Full bespoke training will be provided by one of our regional nurses, covering:

  • Medication administration
  • Enteral feeding
  • Ventilation
  • Nutrition and hydration
  • Clinical observations

Requirements

  • Female applicant (genuine occupational requirement)
  • 1:1 support role
  • Driving licence preferred
  • Must like dogs and be comfortable walking and feeding them
  • Permanent contract
  • Bespoke clinical training
  • Ongoing Registered Nurse and operational support
  • Free parking
