About the Role

Harland Care Services provides care and support to clients with NHS-funded Personal Health Budgets across England. We are seeking a motivated and people-focused Care Recruitment Consultant to join our busy team in our Telford Head Office. This is a dynamic and rewarding position in which you will be responsible for attracting the best candidates to fulfil roles in our client care teams. You will play a key role for the company, acting as the main point of contact for both candidates and clients, and managing the full recruitment process. You will work alongside operational and clinical colleagues to place the right person in the right role. Your ability to understand company and client needs, communicate effectively, and move quickly in a busy environment will directly contribute to the success of the service and the quality of care delivered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advertise, screen and recruit care staff following the CQC Safer Recruitment guidelines
  • Manage candidates from application through to sign-off
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carers and colleagues
  • Ensure full compliance (DBS, references, right to work etc)
  • Maintain exemplary candidate records
  • Work towards and meet recruitment targets
  • Identify and utilise the best recruitment opportunities including job platforms and social media forums
  • Ensure recruitment funds are used efficiently to achieve the best results
