Harland Care Services Ltd is looking for experienced and compassionate Personal Care Assistants to support a male client living in his own home in Alresford, Hampshire (SO24). The client’s primary goals are to maintain independence, pursue interests, and enjoy community days out.
About the Client

- Moving & handling requirements including hoist lift
- 2:1 support
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support to the client at home and in the community.
- Assist with mobility, including using a hoist lift and other handling requirements.
- Transport the client to and from the local day centre (vehicle provided) on a 2:1 basis several times a week.
- Support the client in accessing social and leisure activities such as horror film viewing, vintage toy collection, car boot sales, baking, bowling, pub visits, and other community events.
- Maintain a fun, warm home environment and ensure the client’s safety and comfort.
- Assist with PEG feeding and ensure appropriate nutrition.
Requirements
- Day shift availability, with flexibility for holiday and sickness cover.
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Friendly, engaging personality, positive, patient and understanding.
- Occasional weekend work required.
Shift Pattern
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 8am–10am and 3pm–8pm (7 hours per day)
- Additional day working 8am–8pm (12 hours)
- Plus sickness and holiday cover.
