Harland Care Services Ltd are seeking a male carer / support worker (preferably with experience) for someone who would really benefit from the right person around him.
Client Specification
Our client has a great sense of humour and enjoys a bit of banter, so someone who can take a joke and chat easily would be ideal. At the moment he is mostly housebound, but the goal is that in time he’d like to be able to get outside for short walks again. He has a dachshund called Toby, so being comfortable around dogs is a must.
What we’re looking for
Someone who can sit and talk with our client, especially on the days when he’s feeling a bit low. This role would suit someone who is patient, supportive, and happy with quieter companionship, rather than someone who needs to be constantly on the go. Some light help around the home would also be appreciated, and it’s important that the person is willing to build a genuine rapport and get to know him well.
Harland Services Ltd is NOT an agency. You will be employed by us, working for one client, and all shifts are offered on a rota basis. Contact us for more information.
