Join to apply for the Community Support Worker role at Paradise Bali Villas. This is a permanent role working 10 hours per week – currently Tuesday and Thursday, 10am–3pm (times will be discussed further at interview).
Role Overview
You will join our amazing Community Service team in Whiltland, Carmarthenshire, supporting a deafblind gentleman with sensory loss, hearing and vision difficulties as well as mobility difficulties. He is keen to remain independent and enjoys activities such as gardening, visiting the garden centre, shops and bowls.
Responsibilities
- Assist with everyday tasks such as cooking, cleaning, finances and appointments.
- Support the gentleman in maintaining his social life and community engagement.
- Provide a customised, responsive and high‑quality service tailored to his individual needs.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Full UK driving licence.
- Own vehicle and business insurance.
- Good communication skills and a kind, respectful approach.
- BSL proficiency required (basic finger‑spelling acceptable for competent candidates).
- Knowledge of sensory impairments or learning difficulties is beneficial.
- Willingness to attend training as needed.
