Cyber Security (IA) Consultant (mid-level) – Defence/Gov

Full-time, permanent position based from home with 1 day a week on-site with clients located in the South of the Country (i.e. South West, M4 corridor and London.)

Cyber Security Consultant required for a leading Cyber Security Consultancy with a specialism in the Defence & Central Government sectors.

About the Role

We’re looking for people highly skilled in Information Assurance, Compliance, Security frameworks, GRC & Secure by Design. Experience with the Defence/Government sectors (directly or via third parties) is desirable. Ex‑forces background is advantageous. You should ideally hold SC clearance or above (or be able to achieve it). Salary range £50,000 – £65,000 plus benefits.

Responsibilities

• Deliver cybersecurity consulting services for Defence & Central Government clients.
• Apply GRC frameworks and Information Assurance practices.
• Design Secure by Design solutions.
• Assist in maintaining clearance and security compliance.

Qualifications

• Mid‑Senior level experience in cyber security, GRC, Information Assurance.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance.
• Experience with Defence/Government sectors.
• SC clearance or ability to obtain it.
