A leading UK engineering and infrastructure services organisation is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to drive growth across the Civil Nuclear and Defence sectors. This is a high-impact, strategic role focused on securing major opportunities within highly regulated environments, building senior stakeholder relationships, and shaping long-term revenue growth.
The Role
- Lead business development strategy across nuclear and defence markets, identifying and converting high-value opportunities while positioning the business for long-term success.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sector-specific growth strategies
- Identify market opportunities, trends, and framework entry points
- Lead capture planning and complex bid activity
- Build relationships with government bodies, Tier 1 contractors, and key partners

About You
- Proven business development experience in UK Civil Nuclear and/or Defence

- Knowledge of UK nuclear/defence programmes and frameworks (e.g. MOD, NDA, DIO)
