Lead EC&I Engineer

Lead EC&I Engineer | Control | Instrumentation | £60,000 – £80,000 | Nuclear | Contract available inside IR35(£55P/H) | Hybrid | 2 days a week in the office

I am currently working with a leading engineering and maintenance provider, supporting customers across the nuclear, oil & gas, renewables and many more industries. With a global workforce focused on enhancing efficiency and implementing critical technology into these sites.

My client is highly established business building out their EC&I team focused on servicing their clients in the nuclear industry, this is due to some large projects and general continued growth of their UK operation. They are hiring for both a Lead and Senior in the team currently. The focus of this role is to help the team across a number of projects leading the team technically and being a key point of knowledge for the management team and clients alike.

Key Experience

• Previous Lead or Senior EC&I Engineer experience in multi-discipline projects, in an engineering, EPC OR EPCM company
• Experience as technical authority preferred
• Deep knowledge of engineering and design practices
• TUV certified
• Strong understanding of the main standards in relation to your discipline such as; 61511, ATEX, DSEAR, LV, HV, 7671, 7430 & 61508
• Experienced with C&I design packages such as; AMTECH, AutoCAD, AutoCAD electrical, Revit, Dialux
