A leading cybersecurity company is expanding its Microsoft integration capabilities and building a dedicated identity portal that leverages advanced technology to verify users and enable secure operations within Microsoft Entra. This includes use cases such as identity enrolment, account creation, and account recovery.
They are seeking a Microsoft Software Architect / Tech Lead to take full ownership of this identity portal — spanning architecture, development, security, and long‑term roadmap. You will work closely with strategic partners who will continue to contribute to feature development, particularly for joint customer opportunities.
This role is ideal for a highly capable engineer with deep experience in the Microsoft ecosystem, strong technical leadership skills, and a passion for delivering secure, elegant identity solutions at enterprise scale.
What you’ll do:- Own the technical vision, architecture, and roadmap for the identity portal
- Translate business requirements into robust, secure technical designs
- Lead and manage engineering collaboration with external partners
- Drive deep integration with Microsoft Entra, including Verified ID, credential providers, PKI workflows, and identity governance
- Maintain exceptionally high security standards aligned with enterprise and regulatory expectations
- Act as a technical authority in customer discussions, solution design, and deployment
- Help position the company’s technology as a foundational identity layer within the Microsoft ecosystem
- Strong expertise across the Microsoft technology stack, particularly with Entra ID but also Azure, Identity Governance, and Verified ID
- Senior‑level software engineering experience in C#/.NET, with exposure to Windows platforms (C/C++ beneficial)
- Experience with frontend technologies, databases (SQL and NoSQL), APIs, and cloud DevSecOps practices
- Deep understanding of identity and application security, threat modelling, and secure system design
- Proven leadership experience, excellent communication skills, and comfort working with enterprise customers and strategic partners
- Confident use of AI tools to enhance development, security reviews, and productivity
They are offering a salary of up to ~£130,000 + 20% bonus + shares. They are based in London but work on a 90% remote basis (2–4 office days a month) in Central London.
