I am currently working with a leading engineering and maintenance provider, supporting customers across the nuclear, oil & gas, renewables and many more industries. With a global workforce focused on enhancing efficiency and implementing critical technology into these sites.
My client is a highly established business building out their EC&I team currently with a few key hires, this is due to some large projects and general continued growth of their UK operation. One of those key hires is an EC&I Manager. The focus of this role is to drive the direction of the team, help the senior members of the team to deliver across the various projects in the business and help to set the overall strategy of the division and wider business strategies with other management.
Key Experience- Ideally 3 years in a management position and around 5 years in a technical Lead EC&I engineering role previously
- Experience in engineering, EPC or EPCM organisation
- Deep knowledge of engineering and design practices
- Strong understanding of the main standards in relation to your discipline such as; 61511, ATEX, DSEAR, LV, HV, 7671, 7430 & 61508
- Ideally have Chartered Engineer status
- Understanding of managing division budget to ensure projects are fully resourced and recruitment planned.
