About the company
We’re an early-stage technology company building a new AI-powered product focused on improving how organisations design, reason about, and operate complex models and workflows. The initial product targets a critical but underserved area where high-impact decisions are made using outdated tools and fragile processes. While these workflows sit at the core of many businesses, the underlying software has seen little meaningful evolution. Longer term, the ambition is to build a broader platform that supports the full lifecycle of complex decision-making, spanning modelling, collaboration, and execution. We believe this represents a large, durable opportunity and a new category of applied AI software. The team is small, highly technical, and product-focused, with an emphasis on speed, quality, and ownership.
The opportunity
This is a chance to join very early and help shape both the product and the engineering approach from first principles. You’ll work in a tight-knit team building foundational product capabilities where performance, correctness, and usability all matter. Engineering decisions directly influence product direction, user trust, and long-term technical foundations. The role is intentionally broad and well-suited to engineers who enjoy high ownership, technical depth, and working across boundaries.
What you’ll do
- Build and evolve core product features from early foundations.
- Own features end to end, spanning backend services, APIs, and frontend user experiences.
- Work across Rust for performance-critical systems and TypeScript across the product stack.
- Build and maintain React-based user interfaces for complex, interactive workflows.
- Use modern AI-assisted development tools to improve speed and code quality.
- Design and optimise systems with a focus on performance, reliability, and correctness.
- Improve internal tooling, infrastructure, and CI to support rapid iteration.
- Collaborate closely with product and design to deliver cohesive, high-quality experiences.
- Take responsibility across the full product lifecycle: building, shipping, operating, and iterating.
You should have
- Strong engineering fundamentals and experience building high-quality software systems.
- A product-minded approach, with ownership of meaningful features or components.
- Comfort operating in early-stage, high-ambiguity environments.
- High agency, curiosity, and a bias toward action.
- Ability to learn quickly and work across the stack.
- A preference for small, talent-dense teams.
