Job Description:
At Paradigm Housing Group, we’re committed to ensuring our homes meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and resident wellbeing. As part of our response to Awaab’s Law, we’re expanding our Property Services team and are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Repairs Manager to oversee the delivery of responsive repairs across our housing portfolio.
This is a key leadership role, responsible for managing operational teams and supply chain partners to ensure repairs are completed efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. You’ll play a vital part in improving service delivery, driving performance, and supporting our commitment to resident satisfaction.
What you’ll be doing:
Overseeing the triage, scheduling, and completion of repairs, including emergency works and damp and mould cases
Ensuring full compliance with Awaab’s Law and other statutory obligations
Leading and developing a high performing team of Technicians, Coordinators, and Supervisors
Monitoring KPIs such as first time fix rates, completion times, and resident satisfaction
Responding to complaints and escalations, ensuring timely resolution and service recovery
Managing subcontractors and ensuring all works meet Paradigm’s standards
Supporting strategic planning and contributing to policy development
Producing accurate performance and compliance reports
What you’ll bring:
Experience in repairs and maintenance, ideally within social housing or a direct labour organisation
Strong understanding of housing legislation, including HHSRS and Awaab’s Law
Technical knowledge of building maintenance and health and safety standards
Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate teams
Excellent communication and decision-making abilities
Strong analytical skills and confidence in interpreting data
High level of IT proficiency and report writing skills
Full, clean UK driving licence
Experience with emerging building technologies and contributing to policy development would be an advantage.
