Paradigm Housing Group is looking for two Repair Inspectors to join our Property Services team. This is a mobile role based out of our Wooburn Green office, with travel across our operating area (more information about this in the advert below). About the Role

You\’ll carry out property inspections across our housing stock, focusing on identifying and resolving hazards (particularly damp and mould) in line with Awaab\’s Law and other housing safety regulations. You\’ll produce clear, evidence-based reports and work closely with our repairs, compliance, and housing teams to ensure timely and effective resolution.

This role is hands-on and varied, requiring site visits, ladder access to loft spaces, and direct engagement with residents and stakeholders. You\’ll be instrumental in ensuring our homes are safe, well-maintained, and compliant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate emergency and significant hazards within legal timeframes

  • Conduct general property inspections and triage findings to relevant teams

  • Raise and define repair orders with clear scopes of work

  • Maintain accurate records and issue summary reports to residents

  • Collaborate with internal teams to meet KPIs and customer satisfaction targets

  • Support the Repairs Manager on high-priority cases

  • Ensure safe working practices and compliance with health and safety procedures

We\’re looking for someone with:

  • A relevant qualification in Housing or Building, or strong experience in residential property

  • Full UK Driving Licence and access to a personal vehicle for business usage is essential (mileage will be paid at in line with Company policy, 45p per mile)

  • Proven ability to conduct inspections and produce detailed reports

  • Knowledge of HHSRS, Awaab\’s Law, and housing legislation

  • Strong problem-solving, time management, and communication skills

  • A customer-focused mindset and the ability to work independently

Preferred but not essential:

  • HNC in Building Construction

  • Working towards RICS or similar professional qualification

  • Experience in housing, building surveys, or contractor management

Location of Head Office/Travel Involved in the role.

2 – 3 days per week in the office or out completing inspections, 2 – 3 days per week working from home/out on patch.
