Location: High Wycombe / hybrid working (2 days office & 3 working from home)

Are you passionate about tackling anti-social behaviour (ASB) and making a real difference in communities? Were looking for an experienced Community Safety Officer to join our dedicated team on a 12-month FTC, this is a newly created role following a period of growth within the organisation. This role is central to our ASB response, managing a varied caseload including the most complex and serious incidents, while providing vital support to customers, colleagues, and external stakeholders.

Operating within a hybrid model (two days in the office and three days working from home), youll play a key role in delivering our ASB service, ensuring cases are handled promptly, professionally, and with a strong focus on customer satisfaction. Ideally, youll bring previous experience in managing ASB cases within a housing context, along with a solid understanding of the legislation and tools available to resolve these issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of ASB cases, including complex and high-risk incidents.

  • Build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and external partners to deliver positive community outcomes.

  • Utilise all available tools and enforcement methods to resolve ASB cases swiftly and effectively.

  • Prepare legal notices, witness statements, and case documentation; represent Paradigm in court when required.

  • Deliver a customer-focused ASB service in line with our policies and procedures.

  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Housing and Rent Recovery to ensure seamless case handling and resolution.

  • Attend multi-agency meetings and represent Paradigm in discussions with local authorities, police, and other key partners.

What Were Looking For

Were seeking someone with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage and prioritise a complex ASB caseload. Youll need to be confident when dealing with challenging behaviour and experienced in preparing case reports and legal documentation. Experience within the housing sector, particularly in ASB management, is preferred, as is the ability to work flexibly and collaboratively.

Your success in this role will depend on your ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders and develop practical, problem-solving responses to ASB issues. A strong understanding of landlord and tenant law and its application to tenancy and ASB management is essential.
