Are you a skilled carpenter with a passion for fire safety? Do you take pride in delivering high quality work that keeps people safe? Paradigm Housing Group is seeking two experienced Fire Risk Carpenters/Multi Skilled Technicians to join our Compliance Team on a full time, permanent basis.

The Role: What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be at the forefront of fire safety, carrying out essential tasks to ensure the safety and compliance of our properties. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Fire Door Installation and Maintenance – Installing and maintaining fire doors to certified FIRAS and BM Trada standards.
- Fire Stopping – Completing fire stopping installations to the highest standards.
- General FRA (Fire Risk Assessment) Maintenance – Performing general carpentry, joinery, and reactive maintenance. Certifying all work to the required standards with complete attention to detail.
As part of our Compliance Team, you’ll work both independently and collaboratively, delivering excellent service to tenants while taking ownership of your work and ensuring all tasks meet approved codes of practice and regulations.
What We’re Looking For
To excel in this role, you’ll need:
- Qualifications: Relevant City and Guilds Part 1 and Part 2, NVQ2, or equivalent experience in carpentry and joinery (essential).
- Certifications: FIRAS or BM Trada Fire Door Maintenance, Installation, or Fire Stopping certifications (preferred but not essential).
- Experience: Proven experience in housing repairs, maintenance, and working within occupied homes.
- Expertise: A sound understanding of passive fire risk works, small building projects, and general maintenance (including carpentry, joinery, plastering, basic plumbing, and tiling).
- Attributes: Strong problem solving skills, excellent time management, and a commitment to high quality customer service.
- Other: A full (preferably clean) driving licence.
