Impactful work towards charitable objectives, working with autonomy alongside experts, and utilising your legal skills in-house to make a difference. You will work closely with Executive Directors, leadership teams, and external partners, managing a diverse caseload including housing management, anti-social behaviour, housing disrepair, property litigation, and landlord/tenant matters. Your role involves offering strategic legal advice, managing risk, providing legal training, and supporting the Legal Services team’s development.

We support flexible working, including part-time options (30 hours over 4 or 5 days, pro-rated salary). Our hybrid working model involves coming into the office at least two days a week, with the rest remote. Our location is accessible, with free parking and electric car charging. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert legal advice on housing issues.
  • Manage property litigation and represent Paradigm at Courts and Tribunals.
  • Assess legal risks and develop mitigation strategies with stakeholders.
  • Create and deliver housing law training for internal teams.
  • Prepare reports and documentation for senior stakeholders.
  • Lead and manage special projects as needed.

  • Qualified Solicitor or Barrister with significant post-admission/call experience.
  • Proven track record in property litigation, landlord/tenant, and anti-social behaviour cases.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Advantageous Experience
  • Experience in social housing, regulated industries, or charities/non-profits.
